I almost invested in the Yamaha Yas-106 two years ago but I’m glad I waited for the updated model, the yas-107 (summer 2017). More features and upgraded drivers delivers really solid audio quality from my PS4, uhd player, computer and tv. The biggest selling points for me are the two built in subwoofers that maybe small but packs a good punch. Then when I’m ready for more bass power, I can purchase any stand alone wireless subwoofer and sync to this yas107. Wall mounting it may provide the best audio experience but I have mine lying down flat below my Sony 55” x900c tv and it barely fits but still sounds amazing from 10 ft away.

It is easy "plug & play" except you need to download and install a firmware update to get DTS Virtual:X® virtual 3D surround sound. However it is well worth it to do that as 3D Surround is now the mode I use for almost everything I watch. Be aware the ability to change sound modes is only available via a phone app, not the included remote.

This is exactly what I wanted living in an apartment. It has great sound on its on in this setting. You get to decide what sub you want to pair with it which I like. Planning on using a sub if I ever get out of an apartment.

I didn’t want the full sound system with the subwoofer, sound bar only. Instead of buying a sound bar made by a tv maker went to a company that has made stereo equipment for decades. Was a good decision and very satisfied

Not bad, but could be much better. I bought this due to ease of use, with the HDMI connection. The sound is good for music, but for dialog on TV shows/news programs, voices are a little muffled.

This is one of the best buy's ( no pun intended ) I have made in a while. Wasn't available in my B&M store but ordered online and it is very easy to setup. having an HDMI : in - arc out makes it easy to control this bar using just the tv remote. I have paired it with my Panasonic 65vt60 and works excellent. My goal was to watch movies and tv without constantly turning up the tv speakers to be able to listen to dialogue and turning it down during action scenes ( so as not to wake up our 8 mo old - nap time is a premium). I thought that this is better than the Bose, Klipsch, LG and other sounbars. Yamaha sure knows how to engineer these soundbars.

I purchased the Yamaha YAS 107 soundbar in July 2017, sound quality is excellent, no issues with yet.

Best sound bar ever! Sound fills the room unlike other sound bars I’ve had

I was very disappointed in this product there was no highs it seemed very Bland had no depth had no intensity. To be quite honest I have $100 sound bar that creates better sound and audio quality than this Yamaha sound bar.
