Great Mini System

Radio reception is great where I used to receive lots of statics. Craftsmanship is A+,typical of Yamaha. Con: a function of clock and alarm will make this system a perfect for the intend of its purpose.

Surprising Sound/FM/CD

Not a "Booming" volume, but enough to provide pleasant, clear music from the CD, and my local area FM stations come in clear with just the built in antenna. I think it is a super value in this price range, without having to purchase a system that costs at least $700-+. MINI in name only.. Best Buy should have this available on display in its stores. They have nothing on display comparable to this!

Nothing Better For The Price

Was not on display at the Best Buy. Had them order it online for me. I tried other "compact" brands/styles. Mostly JUNK. But this Yamaha has great sound. Perfect for my family/TV room. It is SMALL and had me wondering how good it would me. Very Surprised with it's performance, and surprising FM reception. Well worth the money. Best Buy, Fry's, etc. would be wise to carry this unit on display.

Good system for a small space.....

The Yamaha, although a "MINI", puts out enough volume and sound quality. The speakers can be spaced a few feet apart and my family room gives me all the sound I need, with clear sound and tone. Best $350 I ever spent. Unfortunately, it wasn't on display at the store and the sales staff never even mentioned it as a choice. I found it online, and ordered it through Best Buy.

Yamaha reliability
