Customers are pleased with the Gear4 Kita Grip 360 case's screen protector and the overall protection it offers for the Nintendo Switch OLED. Many appreciate the case's grip, finding it comfortable to hold. However, some customers found the case difficult to install and remove, and it is incompatible with the Nintendo Switch dock. A few also felt the price was too high for the product's features.

Disappointing at this price; could be better

TL;DR - Disappointing at this price; good, but could be WAY better. Might be better to just buy a screen protector and case separately.
PROS:
+ Comfortable grips (at least for me)
+ Decent protection for the Switch
+ Easy to install screen protector
CONS:
- Hard to put on and take off
- Power on and volume buttons are hard to press (it doesn't feel like you're pressing them sometimes)
- You HAVE to take off the case to put it in the dock (and as stated previously, it's hard to take off)
- Expensive
My thoughts: This case is very hard to put on, and initially I was trying to see if there were any instructions for how to put it on so as to not accidentally damage my Switch. Once I finally got it on, I can tell that it will offer pretty good protection for the Switch. The screen protector is really easy to install, especially if you're already used to installing screen protectors for your phone. My main gripe with this case is that it's hard to tell if you're pressing down on the power on and volume buttons. Other than that, it's very comfortable in my hands. I do think it's a pain to have to remove the case when you want to use the dock. Personally, I'm going to be using this as a handheld anyway, so I might rarely hook it up to my monitor or TV. However, I do understand that other customers may NOT like this fact, especially since the case is already hard to put on and remove.
For now, I will be keeping this for a few more days before I decide if I want to return it. For the price, I think it's a rather disappointing product. If it had been around $30, I would rate this a bit higher, but it's current price is $60. Overall, I am disappointed with this product, especially at this price. There are some pros but I know for a lot of people, the cons will greatly outweigh them.

Personally I’m ok with this Nintendo Switch OLED case. I’m just using the switch in the handheld position (no tv docking). BUT just a few things to keep in mind. It is definitely hard to get on the switch. It’s not impossible, just very difficult. Also, you can NOT dock the switch with this case on. When I put the case on, I started by placing the switch in the bottom part of the case THEN I pulled the little rubber corners over the switch. I have 2 switches (OLED), so the other one I will use for docking. The case is DEFINITELY overpriced. Also, with the case on the switch, it does NOT fit the carrying case I purchased for it. The carrying case (see photo) is the RDS Industries - Game Traveler Deluxe Travel Case - Model: NNS40W.

Doesn’t fit in a case let alone the dock. Would not recommend if you try to leave it on for life.

This was the only option available.
I mainly bought this for the screen protector, but wanted to give the grips a shot
Personally, I didn't care for the shell. It didn't play nicely with my arthritis.
The screen protector seemed to mute the colors of the OLED switch screen, and after a few months, I took that off.

Bought this for the glass screen protector since Best Buy is all sold out of the protector by itself. Glass screen protector is solid. Grip is ok. Hard to get on and off and wont fit on dock with cover on

Can’t dock while the case is on?!

The case is super durable and the quality is pretty good. But the reason why I give this a one (1) star review is because everything else about the case is horrible. Firstly, it’s way too hard to put on. I feel like I’m about to break off my joycons just to get the case on my New Switch OLED. Second, you CANNOT put the switch on a dock if the case is on. Yes you read that right. This case elimantes half of the functionality of the switch (which is to put it on a dock instead of playing it handheld mode). Lastly, this case is a BIG HASSLEto take off. Want to dock the switch? Good luck taking it off the case without feeling like the joycons is about to be broken off. Want to take out your joycons? No chance LOL. Get something else on Amazon if you want a dockable case that doesn’t trap your expensive oled switch in. The screen protector is nice though…

The case is very secure and tight fitting, difficult to put on and remove also doesn’t fit on docking station with case on. Otherwise I like it cause it’s very much a secure and way to keep system from breaking if you drop it.

Hard to find any redeeming qualities with this product. For starters, the price ($60) is absolutely INSANE for what you're getting. The screen protector that's included is a cheap feeling flimsy little plastic screen protector, for $60 I was expecting it to be glass.
The grip case is equally awful. Extremely hard to attach to the switch (seriously feels like you're gonna break something when putting it on) and it feels very cheap overall.
Please DO NOT waste your money on this junk. Skull n Co and Satisfye both make cases for the OLED Switch that are 10x better than this junk. $60 for this is highway robbery.

The screen protector is great! The case is a little hard to get on but it is a wonderful bonus. I can not rate on how easy or hard to put on because I just had a best buy employee put it on, who also did a great job!

sadly going have to agree with everyone. protection is good but definitely thought i was going to beak off my joycon while removing the cover and putting it on. grip barley made any difference with my grip on the switch. i have pretty large hands so i was hoping for something that wouldn't cramp my hands over time. had to return. would have been more of a hassle than a upgrade. go for a case so you can store your games keep it safe and put into the dock whenever you want to. unless you only want to play on the go.
