This stabilizer was an impulse buy because I needed something to take video at an event but didn’t want to drag along a tripod. It did a good job stablelizong after some fiddling to get it balanced. I tried to use the advance features with the built in app, but it was not intuitive. But for the price it was pretty awesome. I got it on sale while I was traveling. I will likely give it to one of my kids to use, if I find one more intuitive.

This allows you film more than short shaky video clips. the smooth 4 is better though

Made this purchase in hopes of making better GO-Pro videos. It does not play well with the Go Pro. It is amazing with the cell phone but I was not looking to use it with my phone. It is a challenge to get it to balance. I had to refer to a you tube video. Overall, its is sturdy and does well with making cell phone videos. I would recommend it to every one looking to make smooth jitter free videos.

this thing was kinda cool at first till i realized it did not work with many new phones cause the size the phones are to heavy the app to use it was horrendous i got it to work once without the app with my go pro and it worked great but other then that I do not recommend!

So far this works great with my android phone and gopro. Long battery life and easy setup.

I bought this on a whim in the pre-black friday sale, and I didn't expect much.I had a case on my phone (iPhone 6s Plus) and it just wasn't really working. I actually read the manual, and saw that it was good for up to 200 grams... with the case my phone was 250, so I was over by 25%. Without the case it works nearly perfect. There are some cool app-assisted features, such as panorama photos and moving time-lapses.

This is a high value gimbal! not only is this a quality item, but at $99 holiday sale it is worth picking up to learn the skills needed for gimbal shooting without the full cost and commitment to a full size model. It is great for cell phone use and training!

So this thing works, but it's a little complicated to use. The function button that cycles thru the different functions doesn't do a great job of letting you know what function you're currently set to. Also with my iphone, I can't seem to get it to shoot in Portrait Mode very well. Landscape mode works fine. Charge lasts a while and the motor is pretty quiet.

I wanted this strictly for my GoPro hero 5. Other gimbals were too pricey so I gave this one a chance but was skeptical because it's advertised to work with smartphones. However, I use it with my GoPro without any adapters and it works excellently.

I don't have any need to stabilize my camera but bought it out of curiosity on its Object Tracking feature - it is quite amazing to see it works but it is not very responsive, i.e. if you need to track a kid running around, it likely fail to do it. Therefore, to me, it becomes a real expensive and heavy selfie stick that I hardly use.

The Zhiyun - Smooth-Q is a great value for smooth video, especially compared with other options (e.g. Osmo). We've used it several times with an iPhone 6 plus, without noticeable wobble even walking up and down stairs. Highly recommended.

I found it easy to set up and use. the app is fairly basic for general use, with manual controls being quite tricky to use. I'm using with filmic pro, but you'll always have to tighten the rec on the device. in contact with the support of the filmic, they said intend to explore the sdk of the device but without date. for now they only support osmo mobile.

Very nice, easy to use but just a tad bit heavy. Picture and video quality is excellent. Lots of good videos online. Great for concerts and vacations. Excellent but. A must have.

Love this gimbal. So many features at such a great price; very easy to use and get setup. The only downside is that I wasn’t able to get my iPhone 7 Plus to balance properly. Online videos showed that it would work but I wasn’t able to. Used my 6s without issue.

Good gimbal, not great. This is my FIRST gimbal. Wanted one to use my iPhone 11 Pro Max for vlogging on the move. It does that job very well, BUT the phone is pushing the gimbal 100% all the time. It doesn't like the big heavy phone, and sometimes doesn't balance right, which is frustrating trying to re-set everything up especially if you were trying to get a quick shot. Also claims to be able to charge the phone while using the gimbal, but the charging port on your phone is jammed against the rubber bumper, so you cannot plug it in... Overall, I wouldn't buy this again, I would spent a few bucks more on a much smaller, feature packed better gimbal.

I bought this for use with my s8. It was easy to set up and balance. Video came out superb. Steady shots with smooth panning. Just remember, if you are shooting in 4k, always remove stability shot in your camara setting.
