Excellent affordable phone and build quality! The unboxing was a nice surprise, they include a slim case. It won't protect it from a high fall but it's something to tide you over if you ordered a case and waiting on it. The screen is great but can be a little hard to see in direct sunlight. Greens and blues are very bold, but otherwise balanced. WiFi is 2.4Ghz only, no 5GHz. Has LTE bands for T-Mobile and ATT/Cricket but doesn't include 66 (T-Mobile) or 30 (ATT/Cricket), although it seems to be working fine without it. It has dual facing speakers which sound great to low to mid-volume. It certainly adds depth if you're watching a video. It uses USB Type-C charging cables, so if this is new to you or upgrading from an older phone with the traditional micro-USB interface be aware. There is a fingerprint reader but I don't use it, so I can't comment on it's quality. Your mileage may vary. There's been a few updates since I've owned it, currently on Android 6.0.1 with a security patch date of December 1, 2016. And speaking of android, this isn't stock Android.... ZTE adds their own "skin" to it, which is a bit odd if you're used to the stock android experience. It seems to be a halfway between stock and Samsung's interface which isn't too jarring if you're moving from one of those devices.

The zte axon 7 mini is a great phone with good battery life, lots of storage, one of the best cameras you can get with 16 gig pixels.

I really like the phone. It has very good speakers, the colors look bright, the camera is good although there are times when the front camera does not capture the light well. I noticed that when charging is overheated or has low charge, at that time I have to stop loading it and put it near a fan. Otherwise it is ok and I do not regret buying it.

Light on bloatware and has a great combo of hardware for its price point! 3GB of ram really makes this cheap but well built phone work very, very well. I have has this phone for many months now and am VERY happy to have made the purchase.

Know what you're buying. This is not a top of the line phone. It is a mid-ranger. With that said, I still think that's it's great. The screen is great and gives great color. The phone is very snappy. I had read that battery life was bad, but it's better than the LG V10 that I gave up for it. The build quality is great and getting aluminum for a phone of this price is great. I like that there is not a lot of bloatware. It came with a clear case, which is good because without it the phone is very slippery. When you compare the cost for what you get, this phone is easily 5 stars. Another thing is that ZTE offers a 2 year warranty standard that includes accidental damage coverage for like $80 per incident. If you want the top processor and bigger screen, go buy that and pay more. If you're looking for a good quality phone for a great price, this is it.

This is a solid all around phone that rivals the Galaxy S7 for 1/3 the price. They call it Mini but it is only Mini to the full size Axon. It's still bigger than an iPhone 6s. The ZTE skin over stock Android is minimal and very workable. It's fast, good call quality, beautiful screen, and good camera. The only thing I would add is wifi calling.

It's a good phone for the price and the freedom to chose any carrier since it's unlocked

So far I love this phone. I purchased it so that I would have options on an international trip. It is dual sim which will make things easier. Also tired of the major phone carriers so thought I would give one of the little guys a try. Android is a bit old so I updated it which was not hard at all. Camera is excellent and a good variety of band widths. The only thing I can think of someone might dislike is that it is a heavy phone because it is made out of metal instead of plastic.

Certainly there are better phones, but very few that are better at this price. Plenty of storage on board, fast processor, and the Dual Sim means we can keep the primary AT&T Sim in slot one and our FreedomPop Global SIM in the other. Switching between them is a snap. All in all a decent phone for the money.

I am very happy with my ZTE - Axon 7 mini phone. All features have worked well and I get very fast internet. The sound is great and the camera has no issues. I am also impressed with the battery. I have not used the included charger as I always use a powered usb3.1 hub to charge it at home. It charges very fast compared to other phones I have had. I also always charge it when in my car and I have not yet seen it below 40% when I have it on my belt clip for many hours a day.

I bought this for Christmas for my son who wanted external storage It can add up to 128 GB (plenty) and has a ear bud jack so it can play his music play list in the car on the car speaker-- has excellent dual HD speakers great sound and great camera rear & front. So far so good and excellent price under $200, unlocked for T-Mobile SIM card large screen yet fits in pocket. Long lasting battery but not removable (only drawback) but all good so far

I had a Samsung S-III that had problematic battery life from originally buying it. Best Buy had the Unlocked Zte - Axon 7 Mini 4g Lte With 32gb Memory Cell Phone on sale after Christmas. I reviewed the phone on Amazon. The reviews appeared to be >85%, 5's & 4's. Based on the reviews, I went back to Best Buy and bought it. This phone has amazing speakers. Music sounds like I have a radio playing - excellent sound. The camera takes great pictures and I used the video to record my grandson during a swim meet. Back at home, I connected to a desktop computer for my wife to watch. It was a superbly clear picture with great sound of the action. The battery life is outstanding. I am not a heavy user but the Samsung would, typically, not make the day without a recharge. This Axon mini will still have 50% battery at the end of the day. The price was fantastic as compared to an Apple or Samsung (less than half) and it is just as fast, light, slim and comes with a clear soft plastic protector, ear buds & charger. When I registered the phone, the company sent me a 1/2 price offer for any accessory I wanted. I purchased a very nice protector that covers the screen. Just flip it open to use the phone. Cost - just $15. I've only had this "mini" for about a month but feel that I will keep it for several years.

This phone works amazingly well, has 32 gb of memory with an additional slot that can be used for an sd card or a 2nd sim card. The best phone for $200 in my opinion

I am satisfied so far with my purchase of this ZTE phone, after returning a Sony phone. The option of dual SIM cards is an extra bonus. I am happy with my ZTE Axon.

I'm really surprised what a great phone this is for $200. The battery life is the best I have ever seen, barely hitting 40% after a day of frequent use including Bluetooth audio and navigation. The processor is fast, no lag in apps. The fingerprint sensor works great. I really like the EMUI, much better notification system than the standard Android 6. Camera, reception, display - no regrets here either. Also worth mentioning: Unlike my previous Samsung, Motorola and LG phones, you can actually uninstall/remove all bloatware apps that come with the phone. Definitely recommend this thing!

The colors and contrast on the screen are excellent and other features are as expected. Also, it can take a dual SIM card which is handy for international travel.
