A powerful epic drama that recounts the heroic actions of the British troops assigned to defend a small outpost within the vast Zulu Empire, and the respect that they earned from the Zulu Warriors whom they fought against.

I have seen this several times and I never get tired of it, this the battle fought in Rorke's Drift, following the devastating defeat of about 2000 British soldiers who invaded Isandlwana, this time the thousands of Zulu warriors are only fighting about 100 soldiers and few sick men, if you have not seen this movie I suggest you watch Zulu Dawn first, available at Amazon prime and follow it up with this one...the only thing is, this is not the theatrical version, which to me is better....but it still highly recommended.. I am not going to spoil it, so I will just goad you to watch it ..

A classic film from England. Starring a young Michael York. The story is based on true events in Africa. A small English outpost that was mostly a military hospital. But the small group of men held off the ZULU Nation for 2 days of fighting. A great historical piece.

Shipping was fast arrived early and in excellent condition. My husband had seen it before but I hadn't. Zulu warriors were Africa's most fearsome and honorable warriors and it was an excellent movie!! (Michael Caine was about 29 yes old)

story in the vein of siege at fire base Gloria or siege at jutoville. 100 soldiers under siege facing wave after wave of opposing enemy forces. Plus, early Michael Caine. You saw him In Batman and now you see me. See where he started

Classic film - great to see again in the wide-screen format. Film does good job showing both sides and amazing the most Victoria Crosses awarded for one British battle in the their history. Awesome to see Michael Caine in his first credited film.

im order a dvd Zulu movie im watch it manys year ago like it lot im was still justgood as first time im seen it got the movies fro best buy in few days

I've seen this before on tape and just started watching it. It is a great historical movie and keeps you on the edge of your seat throughout the whole movie. The color, sound and plot are great!

British colonialism of the Dark Continent at its darkest. As it is the victor who writes history, who know how accurate this is, but it still entertains.
