LG - 75" Class NanoCell 99 Series LED 8K UHD Smart webOS TV

Honestly the product deserves a 5 star, the TV has beautiful sound, picture quality, and design. The problem I have is with the purchase. It took me nearly 2 days to pickup when it was supposed to be ready in an hour. I purchased online, the TV was listed as an Open Box Excellent Condition, however, after getting it home, I do not believe it should have passed for Excellent condition whatsoever! Nor would I have spent $1600 after seeing the tv was already damaged. Upon opening the bubble wrap around the TV, I noticed some heavy dents on the top left frame of TV, a bit ugly but whatever, I can live with it. I head over to the top right frame of TV to remove sticker and see there is a black spot (lack of pixels?) DIRECTLY underneath! The dents are one thing but how can you label something excellent condition when the screen is already going!? Very disappointing especially after a much anticipated two day wait. Would really like to be contacted on this as I would love to keep the TV but do not want to pay 1600 for a very large BRICK.

The best TV I have ever owned. I went through several bad TVs from Samsung and even an OLED from LG and finally settled on this beauty. Picture - Upscaled content from 1080p to 4k is gorgeous. The detail is amazing. Crisp images and the color is second to none. HDR content pops and wow on the brightness, I have the backlight turned to 30 since it is so bright. The is a little bloom but barely noticeable except on scenes like space with stars, etc.... Sound - Much better than your normal tv sound, gets loud with a little bad. Not bad. Interface - WebOS is the best around. Loving this TV!

Unbelievable picture clarity. Nanocell 8K is a huge jump from even my LG 4K LED. I suggest using HDMI 2.1 to future proof. I paired this with the PS5 and seeing new detail from my 4K HDR discs. Wisa wireless speaker system connectivity is another huge plus. Highly recommended!

I’ve only had this TV for a week, but I’m very impressed. There is hardly any 8K content right now other than a few YouTube videos (which look amazing!). Still, this TV up-converts 720p, 1080p, & 4K beautifully (480p/SD not as well). This TV has one of the best built-in voice assistants I’ve ever experienced, even better than the LG CX & Nano90 series TVs (yes, I have all 3, though smaller size). You also have the option of using Google Assistant and/or Amazon Alexa through the TV as well if you prefer (same with CX & Nano90). App & 4K support is comparable to the Apple TV 4K streaming box, meaning the majority of these features are built into the TV without the need for a separate streaming box (including a built in Apple TV app that supports 4K Dolby Vision & Dolby Atmos). That being said, the Apple TV 4K streaming box still has a few proprietary features that keep it relevant. This TV supports Dolby Atmos passthrough via the Apple TV streaming box (assuming you have a receiver or soundbar with eArc support), the same as the CX. I mention this because the Nano90 currently does not support Dolby Atmos passthrough via the Apple TV streaming box. As with all Full Array Local Dimming displays, there is potential for blooming/ghosting. I’ve witnessed a bit in testing, but must admit... I have yet to see any watching any actual content. Blacks are impressive, and colors are incredibly vibrant. A friend was watching an 8K YouTube video with me & his jaw hit the floor... he said “it’s like looking out a window!”. Although I prefer to turn most AI features off on the CX & Nano90, I’ve actually been using all of the AI pro automatic picture features on this TV (mostly due to the 8k upscaling). Content is stunning while remaining very natural, no soap opera effect etc... though you could manually adjust settings to achieve that if you prefer. All 4 HDMI ports are 2.1 and indicate they support 4K @ 120hz as well as 8K @ 60hz. I have no way to confirm as there are not currently and pc graphic cards or consoles available yet with HDMI 2.1, but I look very forward to the near future. That being said, both the Xbox One X & PS4 Pro look incredible on all 3 TVs (Nano99, Nano90, & CX), but I honestly do prefer this TV. Compared to other 8K TVs, I feel this is an excellent value. Moving from a LG OLED because of burn in issues. The Nano 99 comes close to OLED but it’s obvious that I was spoiled with The picture quality of OLED. That being said the 99 is a great performer and I can’t complain that it doesn’t stand up to the LG OLED. If you haven’t experienced a calibrated OLED then the 99 would probably be stunning, but for the 99 is good to great and does perform as well as the many great reviews state it does. Personally I will need to give it some time to see if I can tweak it and with calibration improve it.

ordered this tv with extremely high expectations, and to say it met them is an absolute understatement. This system is a TV, laptop, and gaming console all in one. Ordering such a large TV was a bit skeptical for me, due to a making such a huge jump in the size from my previous tv, but overall I am extremely impressed with it. The colors are extremely vibrant and it has multiple settings to select from for the view, depending on what the TV is in use for. There is a selection for a movie theatre feel in the lighting/brightness settings and my family and I are huge movie fans. It’s nice to get the feel of a movie theatre screen from the comfort of your own home. We recently watched the most recent Toy Story movie, as well as rewatched American Sniper, and the visuals in both movies were increased tremendously from the TV. Great quality and clear picture for both movies, as well as on my gaming console. Gaming on a large TV can be hard sometimes due to the quality of picture but, this device gives it a completely different feel, as the brightness settings make it easier to see even in a dark toned scene. The set up for the TV was an absolute breeze, as well as connecting it to my WiFi and Cable. The TV has access to every possible streaming service or app, that you can think of. Overall I extremely impressed with this TV and would definitely recommend it to anyone in the market for a new one.

My expectations were incredibly high for this product, and to me it's no surprise that a company like LG could meet and exceed those high expectations. I love everything about this TV, from the upscaling to the user-friendly remote to the portrait display mode. We've always been a family that buys nice electronics, but this one takes the cake. When was the last time you could talk to your remote? Highly recommended. I received this product at a discounted price in exchange for my honest review.
