Best powered bookshelf speakers!
Powered bookshelf speakers that deliver big sound in a small package. I upgraded my two channel SVS system in my bedroom to these KEF speakers and the difference in performance was night and day. The KEF’s have a wider listening area due to the waveguides on the driver which means speaker placement is not necessary unless you want to squeeze every little ounce of performance from the speakers. The best part is they are powered and I was able to remove the amplifier from my previous system clearing up space on my desk! The only con is that they don’t have WiFi capabilities but if you can live with Bluetooth or are using them as tv/ computer speakers then that doesn’t matter and you can save yourself $400 compared to the regular LSX II’s. Definitely a great option if you want quality sound for various use applications.

KEF speaker system
The salesperson was knowledgeable and very helpful in making the final purchasing decision and setting up a convenient installation appointment. The speaker system's performance is very good overall. However, I thought there was an adjustment to modestly alter the frequency response of the output to highlight mid-range for emphasis of the dialog. That does not seem to be an option with these speakers.

Not worth its price. Please read my review
I tried these on pc desktop and in my room with the kube 8. I also tried the Kef R3 meta, Kef LS50 wireless 2 with KC62 sub. In my opinion, the Kef Lsx 2 is NOT worth $1000 at all. Honestly, I wouldn't use these for Free. I connected them via Optical cable for 24 bit 9600hz and I couldn't hear the details I wanted and am used to. Instead, when I tried increasing the volume to pick up on the other sounds the higher pitch sounds hurt my ear ( usually this happens with cheaper speakers or poor audio playback option. ) The only positive I can mention for sound is that it has very good voice clarity. If you were considering these for your PC desktop I would recommend holding off and first trying out Edifier S360DB. Connect them via optical cable for 24bit 96000hz. They are an amazing standard for high quality audio nearfield, I think. Then you can see for yourself why these $1000 speakers plus $600 Kube 8 is absolutely not worth its price. compared to the $500 Edifiers that come with 2 speakers and subwoofer (Even the looks and feeling of the edifier S360DB speakers are really good!) 2nd thing about edifier is that they have many options between $500-$2000. I am trying out a $900 stereo pair soon since the S360DB impressed me so much. I think kef should stop selling these LSXs because they are taking advantage of people who probably never tried other similar speakers and trust kef for its reputation. I don't know what kef put into these but it's not worth no $1000 dollars lol
