The 4th generation Motion Series ushers in a new era of design and aesthetics for MartinLogan. The three modern, yet timeless, colorways can compliment any room while being a focal point if so desired. Motion evokes a unique look and sound, pairing high-performance woofers with exclusive Folded Motion Tweeter technology, a staple of MartinLogan products. The Motion Waveguide enhances the Controlled Dispersion of the Gen2 Folded Motion Tweeter to a generous 90°(Vertical) by 90°(Horizontal) to accommodate a wide range of seating and speaker placement options, while avoiding clarity destroying sound reflections within the environment.
The MartinLogan Sound
Regardless of the environment, MartinLogan speakers achieve high levels of articulation, detail, and realism. Utilizing exotic thin film technologies and Controlled Dispersion, MartinLogan provides unique and special listening experiences not commonly found in the industry.
Gen2 Folded Motion Tweeters
The state-of-the-art thin-film Gen2 FMT offers effortless performance, unmatched by conventional technologies. Utilizing a lightweight material with more surface area, the FMT brings the audience’s favorite content to life with extreme levels of detail and accuracy.
Motion Waveguide
Enhances the Controlled Dispersion of the Gen2 Folded Motion Tweeter, blanketing the listening area with incredible detail and precision. Avoids performance robbing room reflections and provides a more consistent sound across a wider seating area.
Controlled Dispersion
Room acoustics are vital, as everything in the listening room has an impact on speaker performance. MartinLogan minimizes these harmful effects by focusing the sound into the listening area, increasing flexibility, clarity, and placement options, regardless of the room’s design.
Woven Fiberglass Midrange
The lightweight and strong Woven Fiberglass midrange in the Motion series is perfectly suited for keeping pace with Motion’s Gen2 FMT, providing crystal clear dialogue and vocals, as well as lifelike instrumentals.
McCracken-Vojtko Crossovers
The culmination of combining extensive anechoic, in-room measurements, and multiple blind listening tests with the low distortion philosophy of MartinLogan’s signature Vojtko Crossover. Through this process each speaker was refined to achieve peak performance.
Enchanced Cabinet Bracing
If a speaker cabinet isn’t braced properly, it will vibrate or resonate, resulting in masked clarity and detail. This 4th generation Motion series features specially engineered bracing to maximize sound quality by minimizing unwanted vibrations and resonances.
Secure Lock Grilles
Stealth mounting tabs securely hold the grilles in place allowing the listener to customize the appearance of each speaker. Creating a unique look; leaving the grilles on, off, or even rotating them to change the grain of the fabric providing maximum aesthetic control.
Single Cannon Bass Ports
Rear ported speaker designs need ‘room to breathe,’ which can conflict with a room's layout or decor as they require ample spacing from a wall or cabinet. The bottom mount port provides deeper, cleaner, and more powerful bass across a wider range of placement options.
Floor-Bounce Compensation
Bringing studio reference sound to reality with precision woofer placement and crossover tuning, MartinLogan engineers have designed their tower models to produce a more natural and full sound by taking advantage of a constant found in all listening rooms; the floor!
F.A.S.T. Foot
Toolless height adjustability utilizing rubber feet or spikes allows the user to perfectly level the speaker for maximum stability on any floor. Built-in anti-vibration properties lower distortion by reducing ‘judders’ between the speaker and the floor, leaving nothing but pure sound.

- A: AnswerHello. Thank you for your question and your interest in our speakers. Stores should start receiving the new Motion speakers for display/demo around mid-late March. We recommend contacting the store directly and they should be able to provide you with an ETA and let you know what models will be available for demo. Thanks again and we appreciate your support.

Very Satisfying
I'm completely satisfied with my Martin Logan (ML) Motion F10 speakers, and I highly recommend them. I added them to a 5.2 system with ML Motion 10s as side surrounds, ML Motion 50 XTi center. No distortion at loud volumes, plenty of bass at 50 Hz. They're very attractive in piano black and perfectly match the ML center speaker. Note: they are not level on top, which may be an issue if you want to place an Atmos speaker.

Phenomenal Design and Sound!
I was extremely excited to get the opportunity to review these MartinLogan F10 tower speakers. I've been in the market for an upgraded pair to replace an older set, and have done a lot of research. I have to admit, I wasn't sure if I needed to go this route in today's age, with all the advancement in sound technology. As I currently also own 2 top tier 2022 soundbar systems from the top two TV manufacturers, and they are pretty good for what they are and the cost. Let me tell you, if you're debating that, just stop. After hearing these, I could not have been more wrong....these floorstanding speakers are phenomenal, beyond compare! The clarity of these speakers when listening to any audio track, provided a great sound stage and enhanced clarity. My receiver is likely slightly underpowered to fully push these to their peak, as it only outputs ~90w@8ohm/ch. I did notice some clipping and lack of clarity on hifi tracks when up near +5dB, though, again, likely a limitation of my receiver rather than the speakers. I also tested these on current gen movies in Atmos, and it sounded better than a theater. The integrated bridge on the inputs can be easily removed, but in my circumstance and setup, it stayed, as I haven't gotten into bi-amping. The overall clarity and accuracy in sound detail, even at higher levels, is very good. Bass is well supported by a good cone and driver. The integrated crossover in the tower separates out frequencies to the appropriate woofers exceptionally well. I honestly have no complaints. These are perfect for anyone looking for front L&R speakers for a home theater surround, and work just as well on their own as a stereo setup. I should also say, you're getting an expertly engineered design with top notch materials. The gloss black is perfect for what we were going for to blend into our living room. The packing was great, and the feet being that simple to adjust, as well as including swappable rubberized or points for use on hard floor or carpet is very intuitive.
