I do love this appliance, it's just so big. I don't need to roast a chicken, but I could. I need for air fryer for single layer to serve 4 people, quick cheese melts, frozen fish sticks, chicken nuggets, and toast. I think I will get rid of my up right toaster to save counter space. Note to manufacturers, 2" shorter, 1 inch narrower.

Pros ~ It takes 8 slices of bread to toast. It is sleek looking. The air fryer is a nice feture. The price is great. Cons ~ The jobs are a bit hard to turn. They need to add some recipes. All in all I am very pleased.

This is a great product. Easy to use, and it get the work then. You can put a whole frozen pizza inside the toaster oven. I’m liking it

I was shopping for another product when I ran across this one. Salesman was great help, polite and knowledgeable. I am only disappointed with the manufacturers booklet (just very basic information) basically no type of instructions for use.

Larger than expected, cooks well, received my toaster with dents on the top.

Picked this up while it was on sale, and so far quite happy with it. I'm disappointed that it isn't a proper convection oven, since it has all the parts to be one, but I knew that when purchasing. It says not to be surprised about fumes or smoking on first use. I assume this is because of the various coatings of parts to make sure they don't get corrosion or the like, so I put it on a table outside and ran it on high for 40 minutes of bake and 40 minutes of broil. It did indeed smell badly each time, but has not had a gnarly smell since this initial break in. The air fryer works well. We filled the basket with chicken nuggets and tater tots and the nuggets were done in about 15 minutes and the tater tots in about 20. The air fryer suggestion chart shows slightly different times, so your particular food choice will of course vary. We did this with the normal rack and drip pan on the lowest rack space and then the air fryer above it, despite that being recommended against, because less cleanup is a good thing, and we wanted to see if it worked fine that way, which it does. This toaster oven is larger than most, which is a lovely feature. Be aware of this though, as it is DEEP compared to a lot of toaster ovens as a result, and you need enough counter space for it without anything touching or too close. The back and the side vent get HOT when baking, and the top gets HOT when broiling. This is normal, but not everybody is used to thinking about that with smaller toaster ovens that aren't generally running for as long. Just be smart and don't touch those parts, nor set papers on it or behind it, and all will be well. The knobs are a cheap plastic, but should hold up ok. The door mechanism is springy, both to stay closed and open. So, make sure you hang onto it both when you fully open it and fully close it, so it doesn't slam open or closed. The included racks and drip pan and bottom cleaning pan all fit well in ours, and seem reasonably sturdy. The air fryer tray did warp a bit after it cooled the first time, but nothing major and it doesn't prevent it being used. There is a catch on the left hand side, designed to prevent trays from coming completely out once you slide them in. I'm sure this is considered a feature, but we hate it as we want to just pull out the air fryer rack and serve from there. I'll probably end up removing the clip, but until then, to remove or insert a tray (only in the very middle slot) you need to tip it down into the middle so it'll slide under the hook, then tip it to flat again and slide it the rest of the way. All in all, seems to work well, and meets reasonable expectations, so I recommend it. Just make sure you know what you're getting (NOT a convection oven, NOT a variable temperature air fryer).

I love the Black and Decker 8 slice toaster oven. It can almost replace my oven . I use it all the time for toasting of course but, great for airfrying freezer foods. Make chicken nuggets/tenderloin perfect like restaurant style. Can put a lot of food in it. I’m a family of 6 and it’s perfect. I’m giving four stars instead of five because I’v notice not totally even toasting or baking but overall, not to bad with that. It did not come with any type of direction on where to put the racks or what you can use the air fryer for as I’ve never owned an air fryer. It should have came with some type of directions and a small little recipe/cook book for a little more understanding how the air fryer works. Other than that I love it! Simple for the kids to use too.

This toaster oven requires its own zip code but it’s worth it. Toast comes out perfect. Muffins and brownies made with room to spare. Air frying chicken nuggets in 8 minutes without any oil was wonderful. A tray of lasagna, veggie burgers and stuffed salmon baked without heating the house. This appliance does it all, looks beautiful and comes with all accessories you will need.
