Pros:
Impressive audio quality for music, decent frequency range and for the cost I would expect good audio like this.
The Mic and noise cancellation seems good, used the headset for work and my phone and it seems great.
The auto-mute when the mic is raised is nice.
Easy to use and setup. I have it paired to my iphone via Bluetooth and using the LogiTune app, and to my PC via the wireless dongle. I tested by listening to music played on my phone, then placed a call on my PC using a phone app, it automatically switched to the PC audio for the phone call, then once the call ended it switched back to the phone and music continued playing, very nice it's smart enough to switch between devices automatically.
Cons:
My only complaint about this and many other headsets is headband discomfort. This one has a softer headband than what I was using, but it hurts my head even more after a few hours of constant use, I think these are heavier then my last headset and that counter-acts the softer headband.
Logitech claims "long-lasting comfort" with a "cushioned headband", but the comfort only lasts 2 hours max until it starts hurting, the headband needs to be much better to make this headset 100% worth the money and 5-star. If they used a softer and larger band to distribute the pressure, it would help a lot. Arctis headsets are a good example of headbands that are comfortable for hours on end, but I don't like Arctis for work.
I may return these because of how much the headband hurts after a while because it doesn't feel worth the money. But for now I rigged a soft larger foam pad to try, so far it's a huge improvement to have the pressure more spread out with this pad, 3 hours of wearing them and no issues, see images lol. I might rig the extra pad in a nicer way and keep the headphones, because I really like them otherwise.
Only other complaint is with wearing glasses. I have to either wear my glasses further above the ears so the headset doesn't put pressure on them, or wear the headset with the non-Mic side behind the ear(feels like they hold on better like this anyway). This is an issue with all headsets though, still would great if they could somehow design them to not put pressure on glasses.
Overall love them except the headband, it looks like it should be more comfortable than others but it isn't.

Best wireless headset. Everything is on the headset (e.g. mute, volume, ANC, adjustable, etc). Very comfortable sir an 8-hr work shift. Sometimes I forget it’s even attached. Best thing is, I switch from work calls to my mobile device seamlessly. Funny thing, I thought I was purchasing the model below this one—and ended up purchasing the deluxe model. I’m glad I did. Worth every penny!!!

Light and Comfortable Headset for Work

Since the beginning of the pandemic I’ve been using Microsoft Teams a lot for meetings as well as phone calls and I’ve enjoyed the transition away from my old desk phone. While I was working from home I used my Arctis 7X wireless headset and that worked fine, but once I started returning to the office I needed a headset solution for there because I did not want to go back to using my desk phone. I had actually already gotten the Logitech Zone wired headset prior to receiving this after doing my own research and I have enjoyed that, but not being tethered to my PC with the Zone 900 has been really nice. I think it’s a little spendy at list price for what you get, but it’s worth it for me and how much I am on calls to have something that works well and is reliable.
For something I’m more or less going to be wearing all day, comfort is key and the Zone 900 delivers on that. Right now Best Buy lists it as an over-ear headset, but it’s on-ear. The ear pads are made of a leather or leather-like material and rest on my ears in a way that feels secure but low pressure. The ear cups adjust on sliders to fit my head and it’s easy to get them exactly where I want them. I also have a somewhat large head and there’s still plenty of room for these to fit on even bigger heads than mine. I have not been fatigued at all wearing these all day and have not had any problems with them sliding off my head. The headset is lightweight and while I do think it’s well built, I don’t get the feeling it would stand up to a lot of abuse. It’s not really an issue for me since it will just be living on my desk at the office, but I would potentially worry about something happening to them if I was going to be carrying them around in a bag. They come with a fabric pouch for storage, but a hardshell case would have been nice to have for peace of mind. The headset also folds up, though the hinges make an unsettling snapping sound each time I do it that does not make me feel good; it doesn’t seem like it’s actively damaging the headset or anything but it just doesn’t give me a great feeling.
Setting up the headset, I was happy to find that this uses a unifying receiver that is also compatible with my existing Logitech wireless keyboard and mouse, so I did not have to occupy an additional USB port on my PC to use the Zone 900. The receiver is a little chunkier than the regular ones to accommodate the audio, but for my desktop PC this is not an issue and for laptops I would imagine you’re going to connect via Bluetooth anyway. The LogiTune app lets you adjust a few settings on the headset including EQ and sidetone and is necessary to enable some of the functions on the headset and thankfully not too obtrusive. The microphone technically resides on the left earcup, but can be rotated all the way around if you prefer it on your right ear and audio channels on the headset will switch accordingly.
I’ve tested the Zone 900 at my office for 2 full days now and it’s been great. It maintained a solid connection with my PC and I was also able to pair it with my cell phone at the same time via Bluetooth. I didn’t notice any audio drop outs and the sound quality is good. The headset has noise cancelling built-in, but it’s only so-so compared to other headphones I’ve used in the past. It does a decent job of blocking out the AC noise from my building, but I can still hear people talking and things happening around me. The headset more or less isolates me from most distracting sounds anyway whether or not ANC is turned on, so this was not a huge issue. The microphone quality is excellent and everyone I spoke to said I came through very clear. The control buttons are easy to access and feel out and I’m able to answer and end MS Teams calls via the middle button without an issue. Play/pause is via double tap on the middle button, which I find odd and unintuitive. I’m guessing some kind of compatibility issue prevents the headset from having play/pause and call answer/end on the same single tap action (you can adjust some of the button functions in the software). Battery life is good and I’ve been able to get through 2 full work days without having to worry about recharging and I started the third day at about 20%. The headset recharges via USB-C or wireless; I plan on getting a Qi wireless charger for my desk at some point to use as a ‘dock’ and make sure it’s charged up at all times.
Overall I’m happy with this headset as a work-focused type of device. I think if you’re looking at it for any other purpose (music, gaming) you should check elsewhere, but for my day-to-day at the office it’s been just what I was looking for.

So many of us are working from home these days, and a good premium headset is vital for productivity on Zoom calls or similar apps. Things I am looking for are comfortable headsets with decent sound on both video and phone calls. The ability to connect to multiple devices.
Setup is done by following directions on box that prompts you to use a USB dongle and connect to the computer, this will connect your headset automatically; although you can connect the headset via Bluetooth without the dongle if you wish. The instructions have a URL to download software called Logi Tune, unfornatelly the links opens up the general Logitech web site where you have to click a few links to get to the software (I hate that) the direct links is here: https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/articles/4403418820119-Download-Zone-900-Bluetooth-Headset The Logi Tune installed without issue and I first checked the firmware for any updates, it was up to date. You can also download the Logi Tune for your phone (Android or IOS) that gives you same features as the desktop app like turn on/off mute, ANC, and voice prompts. It has an equalizer. It allows you to control the level of sidetone (the volume of your own voice in the headset). It lets you adjust how long before your headset automatically turns off due to inactivity. It allows you to update the firmware of your headset. It displays various info such as which devices are connected, battery level, but I could not get it to work because the app will not detect the headphones via Bluetooth and is stuck on the “Let’s connect” screen. (pictured) I checked prior reviews in app store, and many people reported this. According to Logitech, in response to reviews, the problem was solved, but this model of headphones is new to the market so more than likely this can be fixed with a software update. Another issue is that media such as videos and music will not play while headphones are connected to Android phone (Moto G Power, Android 11). I tried general trouble shooting such as rebooting the phone, turning off then on the media settings for the device, forgetting the device and reconnecting via Bluetooth, etc. YouTube videos and apps like Spotify, Amazon Music just would not play which is not a deal breaker for me since I mainly use it for work calls.
Video calls are outstanding with crisp and clear voice quality and the Advanced Noise-Canceling works well by blocking out outside noises for you on the headset and on the mic so others on the Zoom call do not hear those noises ether. On phone calls the feedback was mixed, some said the sound was clear while others calmed, I sounded better before. The headphones are comfortable wearing for long periods and are not too tight on the ears, a concern for folks like me who wears glasses, also they are light weight with a mostly metal construction that seems durable. Mic quality is excellent as others reported that I came in quite clear on video calls. Flipping the mic up to mute is a nice feature that I use quite often and the voice prompts that inform you of power, battery life, connections are nice as well. The headphones can connect to multiple devices like the desktop, tablet and phone (in my case) that automatically switches seamlessly between them. Headphone has physical buttons such as power button that can be used for pairing if held down, Noise cancellation button (ANC) Volume control and multi-purpose button that accept/reject calls, hang up, play/pause music, skip tracks forward/backward, invoke Siri/Google Voice, and check battery level.
Battery life is great as I get through a workday with plenty of battery life left and has quick Qi charge that gives you 1 hour playback on a 5-minute charge.
Overall, these will do for what I need but do have some software bugs were the Android app is not working plus cannot play video or music via phone.

Logitech Zone 900 is Best-in-Class

This is a premium, professional-grade BUSINESS headset in a crowded field, $240 at Best Buy.
Logitech has leveraged their technological expertise in what might be the new GO-TO comfortable wireless stereo headset for busy users tied to their computers for all-day calling and virtual meetings, with a smart feature set.
**WHAT’S IN THE BOX**
• Zone 900 headset
• *Unifying USB-A dongle for computers
• Short adapter cord for dongle, converts USB-A to USB-C
• 54” charging cord
• Drawstring carrying/storage bag
• Graphical instructions on inside cover of box, with links for apps, support, more, plus QR codes
**THE SETUP**
Plug it in to charge while reading the graphical instructions. Become familiar with the functions, buttons and controls. See the versatile charging options using either the generously long charging cord or Qi charging through side opposite the one with controls and boom mic. Qi charger is not supplied, but these are becoming common to users with Qi-capable mobile phones. Just set the Zone 900 on its ear atop a compatible Qi charger.
As an example, when taking a break, even a short one, set the Zone 900 on the Qi to add some juice without plugging in.
Zone 900 can also be used while plugged in and tethered to its long charging cable while charging with a typical USB-A charger. Qi charging puts about an hour’s use with only 5 minutes on the Qi. There need be no down time.
Without topping up the charge during a busy day’s use, Logitech expects up to 14 hours of battery life per charge. The charging options assure that even pulling an all-nighter will never let users down when it comes to being able to use Zone 900 uninterrupted well beyond the time you drop from exhaustion. It will be ready to do it all over again.
Flipping up the mic engages mute, with audible confirmation, and audible confirmation that mute is off when the mic is pulled down to position for use. A secondary mute is through a small button on the boom mic’s stem.
ANC (Automatic Noise Cancellation) is engaged and disengaged with its dedicated button on the periphery of the speaker that has the boom mic. Also on that side is the On/Off button that doubles as the pairing engagement button. Audio confirmation is provided for both functions.
Volume control and Play/Pause is through the connected computer or mobile device’s volume Up/Down mechanism AND using the raised “+” and “-“ buttons on the middle of the outer cap on that same side as the mic boom. A short press on the center of the cap will answer and end calls, while a long press will summon iOS or Google’s voice assistant.
Though targeted at the business user, the audio specs make the Zone 900 a good companion for listening to music and gaming with good stereo separation. Engage ANC to help set aside intrusive ambient noise.
*Why the dongle and Bluetooth? Bluetooth is a terrible transmission method when it comes to audio quality. Wired is where it’s at for the best music listening. This is a wireless headset. The dongle, a Unifying + Audio USB receiver affords the best connectivity with a computer. Its own network provides connectivity for not only the Zone 900, but also compatible Logitech pointing device and keyboards. Added to the multi-device connectivity, this method also extends the range of the Zone 900 up to 30m (100 feet). Roam, get up out of your seat and stretch without fear of loss of connectivity. Reserve Bluetooth for mobile device connectivity.
Zone 900 can connect to two devices simultaneously, which is another plus. While connected to both a computer and smartphone, users can take and make calls seamlessly on the mobile device as well as through the computer.
**PUT TO THE TEST**
Charged, apps downloaded and set up with a user account. Through both the mobile and computer app, users can check that the mic and speaker are working as designed. At this writing the iOS app has not been updated to recognize this new headset, but Logitech representatives have said to expect the update in “about 30 days,” which translates to about end of July.
It was also tested with the Android app. All went perfectly.
I’m writing this on my Mac while listening to Apple Music. The headband puts just enough pressure to keep the comfortably-padded speakers against my ears without producing ear fatigue throughout the day. They are light enough, too, so they don’t slip forward or backward off my head when tilting forward or back as do many others. This is an important comfort note. Even if this headset was exemplary in all other ways, if it was too heavy and awkward, in constant need of adjustment or if it just would not remain in place, it would be deal breaker. I am so pleased to report on the comfort equation as such a plus.
The smartly designed dual-muting has been a plus. Someone had a great idea here.
I have worn the new Zone 900 all day for three days while participating in Zoom meetings, Google Meet calls and a Microsoft Teams calls, plus numerous phone calls. No one commented negatively about the audio quality. After a few minutes on each of these calls I explained briefly to the other participants that I was using a new headset. I asked for feedback. Without exception, all comments were highly positive, not neutral. I count this as a win. My colleagues have become accustomed to my asking for feedback on products in the midst of evaluation and review, and I have come to value their comments as I know they would love to tell me when there are things they do not like.
The final test today was a movie screening viewed on my 27-inch 4K HDR monitor and listening to the audio track on this headset. Audio sync was perfect . Music sounded good, dialogue was crisp and sound effects were all heard without defects to cite. With ANC on, I was not bothered by the cacophony of background noise from everyone and everything else going on not far from me.
**CONCLUSION**
Logitech Zone 900 just works, and without any compromises noted. Nothing was found for the minus column. Logitech has hit a home run with the Zone 900 and is now my favorite wireless, noise canceling Bluetooth headset to wear while working at my computer or for general calling while indoors. This is best-in-class without a close competitor.
**WARRANTY**
One year limited warranty as stated on the bottom of the product box.

I have used the Jabra head Blue Tooth head phones for several years on my work computer, but needed something to run on my Mac. These Logitech headphones blew me out of the water. I get about 30 feet more range (which means I can wander all over the house while and not loose the connection) and they are super simple to operate. I know there are more expensive, and probably better, head sets out there - but these do the trick for me.
A:Hello Anonymous, Unfortunately, without using Logitech's Logi Tune software you can't disable the voice notifications. You can download it onto your Smartphone---iOS or Android---and customize the Zone 900 that way. - Richard from Logitech
A:Hello Yuri! Usually, with most wireless headsets such as the Zone 900 Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling On-Ear Headset, the mic will indeed turn off before the headphones die, yes. You normally get one or two hours extra of battery life if using the headset to listen to calls or music, without the mic being used. - Mathieu from Logitech
A:Hello SA, There are many differences between the Zone 900 and the H800 beyond their price. One big difference is the Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) that comes with the Zone 900. Also, the microphone is rotatable on the Zone 900 which means that you can have it either on the right or left depending on your preference. There are other differences that you can check out with this chart: https://www.logitech.com/en-us/compare.html?category=products:headsets:wireless-headsets&products=headsets:h800-bluetooth-wireless-mic,headsets:zone-900-wireless. - Richard from Logitech
A:Hello employee! You cannot use the Zone 900 Wireless Bluetooth Noise Cancelling Over-Ear Headset as a wired headset no, the included charging cable will only charge the headset, but not make it a wired headset, so the pairing has to be made via the USB Unifying Receiver or via Bluetooth.
A:Hey! Yes, the Zone 900 headset comes with a noise-canceling mic which isolates your voice from the noise around you, so you sound natural and clear in calls and video meetings even in a bustling workplace.
A:Hello Theo, Using the USB receiver, you can connect to one audio device, but you can still connect to two active devices using one USB receiver and one Bluetooth on mobile or computer. - Richard from Logitech
