• A:Answer Transferring a warranty is not nearly as easy as this makes it sound. I had the receipt and the previous owners info, but that was not good enough. I had to bug the previous owner and have them call to transfer it. They told the owner it would take 2-3 days. 4 days later I called and it was not transferred. They made it sound like it would take 4 more days but gave me a case number and said they would be able to set up a repair with that. I was transferred back to the repair department and they informed me I had to wait for it to be under my name. Now I am stuck waiting until Best Buy decides I deserve to use the protection plan. Horrible customer service!

Q: QuestionI purchased a ps5 from best buy almost 2 years ago now, and now a days it doesnt want to stay on for more than a hour. ive tried cleaning it, but no luck. never unscrewed anything. will the 2 year warrenty cover anything for that?

• A:Answer No. Just popped in yesterday. My PS5 was still under PlayStation warranty. They put in the warranty claim for me and it will be delivered to my house within 5 days and we kept the old one. Next time, geek squad will cover the repair/replacement. No box needed.
