Q: QuestionThe 2 year geek squad plan was used within 4 months at no fault of ours. Nintendo switch quit turning on. (Had not been dropped, no accidents, etc.). Worried that since system failed we will continue to have problems can we purchase a new geek squad plan?

With a phone, we don't charge that to repair it. Instead, you would be getting a new phone of the same model. I hope this clarifies a little bit. Q: QuestionIf I were to purchase the geek squad protection plan, would it cover if my Nintendo switch lite were to get stick drift? I know you can’t change out the sticks without cracking open the console itself.

• A:Answer Not that I know of. As far as I know from years of having this protection plan on numerous items … you have to physically have the item for them to repair or replace. They don’t offer theft protection for these type of items unless it’s a cell phone, but even then it’s through AppkeCare+ or the cell phone company. I could be wrong though.
