• You will need a DisplayPort cable to get 180hz. Please note that the device to which the monitor is connected must also support 180hz, so you might verify this prior to purchase, if 180hz is what you need.

• HDMI can only run up to 100hz and display port can do the full 180.

• Unfortunately this monitor uses HDMI 2.0, which at 1440p can only handle 100hz, you would have to use the DisplayPort 1.4 connection to get the full 180hz.
