I am not aware that they have a name. It uses heat pipes and fans like most. The reviews I have seen for other versions of this laptop, the cooling solution as reviewed very well with good temps on both the cpu and gpu. There were some that thought the fans were a bit loud on max settings but not more so than some of the other gaming laptops in this segment.
