Yes, the QLED requires the monitor go through about a 7-8 minute maintenance about every 4-5 hours of constant use which keeps the picture looking amazing however can be a pain when not planning for it. The controls on the monitor also take a bit of time to learn so have another monitor connected or you might kill your game when it happens.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes pixel shift is on by default and after 4 cumulative hours of use it'll prompt you to do a minor pixel refresh which takes just under 10 minutes. Then there's a whole panel refresh that you can use if you start seeing some image retention. Don't use the panel refresh a bunch since it'll reduce the image brightness over time. Just use that one when you notice bad stuff. It'll clean it up if you catch it early.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. Every 4 hours it prompts you (Can be shut off) to either run the pixel refresh or wait until it is on standby. This takes about 10 minutes to run. It has a panel refresh that should be run every few hundred hours. That process takes an hour or so. Dell has a 3-year burn-in warranty.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I'm unsure if this was answered, but I was bored. It does have a maintenance system in place. Every four hours the monitor is on, it will mandate a panel or pixel refresh. It will shut off the monitor for about 7-10 minutes while it performs this. Once it finishes, you turn the monitor back on. You can tell it finishes by the green light on the power button goes off.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has two types of pixel burn in reduction. A refresh every 4 hours and a big shift every couple hundred hours.
