Hello Sleeper, Yes you can plug other HDMI Devices in to the Fire TV Cube. The HDMI In port works as a pass through that will allow you to switch input sources from the main menu of your Fire TV. When you select inputs on the Fire TV home page and select the Blu Ray Player you will see the main menu of your player pop up on the screen as long as the player is on. You will still need to use your Players remote once the input is selected but the Fire TV Cube will work as an HDMI Pass through for Players, Gaming Systems or other HDMI Peripheral devices.
