The toshiba FireTV uses the most common Toshiba code, it is the first one on most lists and receivers. I had a Toshiba 55 inch FireTV before my Current 58" Insignia FireTV and it died on me only after 22 months most universal remotes will use the URC code, the Jasco CL5 Code or the RCA code. the more common ones in store are the JASCO CL5 since most stores carry the Philips or GE remotes both manufactured under license by JASCO
