Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Some X470 motherboards were manufactured before the release of Ryzen 3000 and do not have an updated bios. Some were manufactured after and have an updated BIOS. If you're buying in person, you can check if the motherboard box says Ryzen 3000 compatible or something like that.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Ryzen 3700X should work with the X470 pro motherboard. However, you will need to update your X470 pro motherboard first before slotting in a Ryzen 3700X (3rd gen). To update your x470 pro motherboard, you will need to go to your manufacturer website and download the appropriate update. Furthermore, you will most likely first need a 1st or 2nd gen Ryzen CPU when updating your motherboard. I'm assuming this is your motherboard: https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-X470-PRO/ The website says it can support Ryzen 3rd gen processors. The pc part picker warning basically says to update your motherboard's bios before putting in a 3rd gen Ryzen processor.
