• You can add a HD node to the Alien but it won’t form a traditional mesh network with the Alien. Only the Alien mesh 2 pack with satellite or another Alien can be added for a full integrated mesh system. Wifi6 on the Alien and Wi-Fi5 on the HD. You can add a HD node to the to the Alien by enabling the third 5G AC band on the Alien and connecting to that in AP or bridge mode. It will add another network separate from your Wi-Fi6 network but it can be done.

• Yes you can as a repeater though not as a mesh. The documentation says no but now I have my AmpliFi mesh point thinking the Alien is a Third Party Device.
