• The red cable is 7.5 inches long and the black cable is 4.75 inches long. The clamps themselves are almost 4 inches long.

• Fairly short, maybe 8 inches or so. It is intended to connect directly to the battery and sit next to it when jumping.

• The cables are quite short as shown in the photo. The black cable is 5 inches long and the red 8 inches. You get a few extra inches beyond that with the clamps so you have to keep the jump charger less than 8 inches from the battery. From what I've seen that is pretty standard across all brands. I've used it and it didn't cause a problem. You connect it, start the car and immediately disconnect it so you just need to rest it on a nearby surface or even on the battery if needed.
