• A:Answer I use it as a second monitor for my HP laptop when traveling. I need more screen real estate when working in graphics applications, so I use this monitor for email and menus while using the laptop monitor for the imagery (because the picture quality is better on the laptop).

• A:Answer After downloading drivers and messing with it for hours, I never could make it work with my Mac. Plugged right in my PC laptop, no issues at all. Also, it’s not like a normal screen to be independent, just a duplication of the lap top. Returning it, unimpressed.

• A:Answer No. Simply put, there's one input on this monitor, and it's to receive a USB cable. Specifically, the USB cable that is sent with this monitor. This special cable will have one end with a single USB cable that is to be plugged into the monitor; the other end of the cable is split into two cables, but both have the same USB male ends. I've always needed to plug both cables into my computer in order to get it work for me.

• A:Answer You may be able to get it working by updating all the drivers. It also depends on which version of Windows you are using. I ultimately was able to get my monitor working by applying an optional Windows 7 monitor driver update AND the latest DisplayLink software (Sep 21, 2017 version). I finally got things working with both applied. If Best Buy allows the link, you can go to this page for drivers. http://www.displaylink.com/downloads/windows

And if you use a powered USB 3.0 hub you can plug one into the powered port on the hub and the other into the other USB port on the computer and they both work and still leave you ports for hard drives or whatever you need.
