For average home use, yes. If you work with larger video/picture files and don’t leverage some sort of connect cloud storage, then get at least the 512… At 1Tb the pricing starts to not look great and I’d consider a different device unless you’re really set on an iPad. One of iPad OS’s biggest flaws is that it can’t stream content off of connected drive larger than what it can host itself. Meaning large data transfers between connected devices can’t be larger than your internal storage or certain apps can’t pull more content off of connected drives that exceed the internal storage amount on the host device (iPad). For everyday general use though, and working with video/picture files within the apple ecco system that leverage expanded cloud storage, 128gigs is plenty of space to feel comfortable. By contrast, for most users - 64gigs is not, the apps are getting too big and the data demand causes issues.

Even with the full HDR photo settings on, you're really not gonna push maxing out your memory unless you're shooting a lot of 4k videos, especially with the special effects that you can use like slow-mo, etc. All these can be adjusted in the settings. Easily the best tablet on the market for ultra HD videos and seamless art/editing professionals.
