When you take it out of case make sure your bluetooth is turned on and it should activate. I keep one in all the time answer calls. I have noticed if remove it from my ear sometimes it will lose the connection with my phone so I just check the bluetooth and make sure it is still in and it re connects.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.On your I phone go to the settings for the device and there you can set them how you like. Play music when you double tap, or activate Siri. They are a nifty thing to have ;)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I also only use one AirPods. I found that if you hold open the lid and wait till you hear a noise then it is connected. Usually takes a few seconds.
