• At the time you purchase the phone, it has to be activated with a carrier, so no it won’t be unlocked initially. However, after 90 days, the SIM-lock will be released, then you can sign with any carrier.

• Yes. But, if you buy it at T-Mobile and go to Verizon, there may be TMobile apps that you cat delete.
