can you get local TV stations? null

If you subscribe to a service that provides local tv. The Apple TV alone will not get you locals.

Not with just the AppleTV. You can get some of the shows for free on other apps. However, it is simpler to get another app like Hulu Live or YouTubeTV. Then you can get all the local stations.

It’s a streaming TV box, yes you can get local stations but you’ll need a TV subscription. I have YouTube TV currently but there are others like DirectTV Now.

If local station has streaming app like PBS or local stations included with DirecTV streaming or SLING. It is application based
