I bought this because I had Fire TV previously and it did not support the Spectrum TV app. I also found this to run faster than Fire TV as far as switching apps and the buffering is fast as well.

We got it because our smart TV kept glitching on certain apps and we were annoyed by it. We went with Apple TV over Roku or fire stick because we both have iPhones and we liked the screen mirroring feature from our iPad, as well as the ability to use your phone as a keyboard. The app interfaces are all really easy to use; and it can combine all your streaming platforms and search them. I can press a button and say “Friends” and it will find which streaming service has that for me (for free or purchase).
