• Yes. You will need a wi-if connection or hard Ethernet connection. You will also need an HDMI cable to the TV.

• No you do not. It will steam wirelessly to your router. The Apple TV box has a port for an ethernet cable which you can use. If an active ethernet cable is plugged into the Apple TV box, the box will default to ethernet. If no cable is plugged in the Apple TV converts over to wireless internet.
