The installer came out and did not have to remove the unit to do the measurements - he did remove the trim to see the cabinet edges.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My entire oven was taken out and left in the middle of my garage floor. No re-installation and left without the ability to cook meals for my family utilizing the oven.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. We just had a double oven installed (to replace a microwave-oven combo) and the installers did slide out the old unit far enough to measure the height and depth of the cabinet, as well as the width. Was not necessary to completely remove it to do the measurements.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. When the site survey people came to our house to assess future fit and installation of a double oven, they unscrewed entire existing appliance, pulled it out a few inches, measured every which way in several places, looked at electrical access, identified possible problem areas, and then put it back and screwed it back in. The whole thing took about 30-35 minutes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The crew partially slid out ours and measured height, width and depth. They would probably have to unhook the power wiring to slide it all the way out.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Service first lifted the oven. It was still connected to the gas line. I am not sure this was safe thing to do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on what we are looking for and how the service person wants to approach. To start, we dont have to move out anything.
