Super easy in most cases. The hardest part for me, was figuring out how to pull the old doorbell off the wall. A bit of internet research resolved that. A simple, pop off cover removed by prying it off. Now, the doorbell/camera unit is quite large compared to a 1/2" push button doorbell so, you should ensure you have sufficient room for mounting the camera or you might have to mount it elsewhere and relocate your doorbell wiring. Which could be more difficult, depending on your situation. I also changed out my doorbell transformer at the same time because it was only 10V. That was an easy task as well. I spent less than an hour installing camera, transformer and setting up the internet connection. In fact I could have done it in half that time if I had used the right password to access my wifi in the first place. ;-(
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Very easy so long as the camera fits the space. It's much bigger than the normal, small pushbutton doorbell activators.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It’s very easy. This camera doorbell is meant to be, and should be, installed at the existing doorbell location.
