• This device does not have a built-in wireless router. You would either have to leave it plugged into your computer or use a separate wireless router with it. Using a separate router is as easy as plugging one in to the single Ethernet port on the back of the modem.

• You will either want a direct (wired) connection or to get something additional like the Netgear 3500 Wireless N router as an add on (which is what I have in my house and it works great).

• The SB6121 Modem is a plain, vanilla modem. It can be connected to a separate wireless router if you have one. Otherwise you would need to connect it directly to a computer. There are several SB and other modems which do include a built-in Wireless-N router and those cost about twice as much as this stand-alone modem.

• You would have to buy a wireless router also for wireless or connect into the computer. It does not have a built in wireless router.
