Yes, if you run it over with a car or throw it off of a building. If you treat the suitcase as though there is a $300 monitor in it, it will be fine.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It shouldn't, unless you drop the people's elbow on the suitcase (which would hurt).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's definitely not good for it. Depends on how well you protect it
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You will have to pack it well, as with all monitors the screens are quite sensitive to sharp impacts. The stand is removable with a screwdriver, the base itself easily removes by twisting the screw underneath by hand. I would suggest getting a laptop for travel purposes unless you are putting it in a suitcase just for moving to a new place. Good luck!
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are specifically inquiring as to whether or not it can be transported lying face down, I came across an article that Best Buy put together (http://www.bestbuy.com/site/electronics-promotions/busting-led-tv-myths/pcmcat253800050012.c?id=pcmcat253800050012). Although it is specifically referencing LED/LCD TV's, I believe the information could still apply. To summarize the link above, LCD/LED TV's are designed to support their weight in an upright position. If you lay the screen flat, it may lead to cracking/distortion on the edges if left that way for an extended period of time. It also goes on to say that added vibrations when driving transporting it in this position obviously increase the chances of it being damaged. Overall, if possible, it would be best to carry the monitor separately and leave it upright. If you were traveling a short distance, pack it up as good as you can and cross your fingers. Hope that helps.
