- Answer It does not and honestly you need to use dvi connector to make use of the 144hz refresh rate. HDMI doesn't support that refresh rate.

- Answer DVI and Display Port can push higher resolutions. Display Port is overall the most ideal as it can support the higher refresh rates as well. Never use HDMI for PC gaming, its limited to 60hz. DVI will push 120/144hz, thats what Im currently using until my display port cable comes in the mail.

Questiondoes anyone figure out how to get 144hz and 1080p? I tried dvi and I get 144hz , hdmi 1080p but 60hz., display port 1.2 gives 1080p native and 60hz OR 1920x1080 144hz but never both! called Asus 3 times and they are useless! each time different answer

- Answer 1920x1080 IS 1080p You can only choose one operating refresh rate at a time (60hz or 144hz etc.). HDMI maxes out at 60hz Displayport and DVI-D (DUAL LINK CABLE, not the one that comes in the box) will get you 1080p and higher resolution wise, and 144hz, so those would be your only options for 1080p 144hz

- Answer Yes, if you run it over with a car or throw it off of a building. If you treat the suitcase as though there is a $300 monitor in it, it will be fine.

QuestionBrightness of ScreenI was reading the consumer reviews, and found one where the brightness of the screen was too much for the individual. My understanding is that the brightness can be controlled with the monitor controls, but is the monitor so bright that even these can't lessen the overall brightness of the screen? Please advise, as I have very sensitive eyes, and won't be able to handle a super-bright screen.

- Answer I purchased this for my daughter who has epilepsy. And the adjustments this monitor has is as good as I have seen. It's refresh rate is amazing. And have no problem with adjusting brightness or any other adjustments on this monitor. It's a great investment. This is my second one I have purchased. I bought my son one a few years ago. And this newer one has so much more capabilities then the one just like it I purchased about two years ago now. I was amazed how much the technology changed in this new one compared to the same one from then.

- Answer Yes, this monitor supports HDMI cables as well as standard PC display port cables. You can use it as both and switch between inputs. Works on PC.

QuestionAre the cable ports really on the upper right hand side? Therefore your cables connecting to your computer or gaming system will be hanging off the right side of the monitor instead of hidden in back?

- Answer The ports are half way up pointing down on the back side of the monitor. The cords are concealed quite nicely behind the monitor.

- Answer Yes, this monitor will display anything fed to it thru one of the ports. The resolution is 1920x1080 pixels, which is the standard “good” quality resolution. This monitor is designed to wok exceptionally well with fast-action games like Call of Duty, so the 144Hz and 1ms response are far better than what you would want for The Sims.

- Answer It can but why waste money on a monitor that's 144hz and the console can't benefit from it. Consoles max at 60 hz and plus the X Box One X uses HDMI which maxes out at 60hz so my opinion is that it's a waste of cash.

- Answer I'm not sure if it was labelled incorrectly, but this is NOT a Freesync monitor. The monitor will still refresh at 144hz with 1ms response time. Whether or not you get 144 FPS is entirely dependant on the games your planning on running, their settings, and your computers specs. Honestly though a GTX 1060 will be about to run most modern games at 144 FPS if it's set to run at 1080p. Tldr: yes it will look great with a GTX 1060 and you will be getting 144hz refresh rate

- Answer For best results, use DisplayPort. If yours came with a VGA cable like mine did, you won't be able to run 144Hz.

QuestionShould I be using HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI for best results on my PS4I'm thinking about buying this monitor for my PS4 and also to be used as a computer monitor. I'm not sure if I should be using HDMI, DisplayPort or DVI when I am gaming on my PS4 with this monitor. If someone could tell me what the differences between each of them are that would be great.

- Answer Your ps4 is only capable of up to 60 hz so it doesn't matter which cable you use. The ps4 has an hdmi port so that is probably your best bet, as for PC use, you will need to use either the included DVI and auxiliary cables or a displayport cable to use the full 144hz FHD that this monitor is capale of.

- Answer The stand is fully adjustable. It swivels at the bottom so you can turn it sideways, and the vertical mount is able to be lowered or raised as much as you want. It can go as low as almost the base of the stand if you wanted it to.
