Yes, as long as your AT&T modem isn't also working as your router. My At&T service had a combo modem/router.

You connect the WAN port on the "primary" Asus mesh router to one of the LAN ports on the AT&T router. After that, use the normal setup steps from Asus. If you want your Asus router to get a public IP address, you will need to go into the AT&T router settings and program it to "pass-thru" to the Asus router.
