You will probably need an Audio or AV Receiver to do what you want. You will be able to plug all your components, including speakers, TV, Turntable, CD player, DVD player, etc., into the receiver and be able to listen to them.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.CDs are (is) a complete different technology than a vinyl record player. From the way you stated your question I assume you have connected your Audio Technica directly to speakers. There is no way to connect a CD player to the Audio Technica. You connect a CD player to a separate amplifier which powers speakers.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You cannot attach a CD player directly to this. You are talking about 2 completely different audio sources. I bought one of these for my son also. We attached it to an amplifier and two nice speakers. With the amplifier, I'm sure you could hook up a seperate CD player to use whenever not listening to records. I feel sure that a sales person in the electronics department of Bestbuy could assist you with getting the correct components to enable you to do this. By the way, this audio Technical turntable is a really nice component.! Good luck
