“Will the august lock work with the nest doorbell camera app?”

The website only says the cam or thermostat are the two that can be connected together with the lock. I looked at the August app and only shows those two, no doorbell also.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.My understanding and what I’ve seen on mine it will only work with August doorbell which your able to see and unlock on the same app. Other than that you’ll have to close and open the August app.

The August event feed will display and link to Nest video feed when you scroll through the history in the August app. They've purposely integrated the August with the Nest in this manner to make it more of a universal 'smart home' and bridge the smart home devices. It is however, limited and more of a novelty than a full integration. In an ideal world you would hope that the activation of the August lock would activate the Nest Hello but it doesn't work that way. But at the very least you can view your Nest captures in the same app.
