A:AnswerHi Laura - it could, but it's our largest most powerful deep cleaner, so it would depend on the size of the rug and if you're using the upholstery hose and tool to spot clean or as an upright cleaner.
A:AnswerIf you run parallel to the wall it will edge clean. Head on it is probably 5” away from the spray, and 0” for the suction. Edge cleaning is dangerous as it can cause mold in an inexperienced hand; I would recommend using the included hand shampoo tool for inexperienced persons.
A:AnswerThe machine is approximately (based on a dead lift) 40# empty. Holds approx. 2 gallons of water at 8# /gallon.
56# total is my best approximation.
A:AnswerThe brushes swing out for cleaning but do not detach completely. This is a much more simple machine, so I have actually found it easier to clean and more sturdy that the other bissel carpet cleaners.
A:AnswerGreat and odd question. I presume you want to know to gage the penetration capabilities for deep cleaning. The psi I do not know since they are all designed on carpet standards and requirements of absorption vs extraction. My ratio of extraction is 2 gal from 3 and dry within a few hours. The main step is to prespray the area with diluted shampoo and brush into the fibers followed by water only extraction. This technique may nullify your question as it places the penetration outside the machine requirements.
A:AnswerMy carpets were damp, not wet after I cleaned them. The suction is great and it real removes a lot of water if you take your time and use multiple slow strokes. I’d go over the same area several times to remove as much water as possible. My carpets were completely dry within a couple of hours.
