• Yes it has steam function high and low settings and a separate vacuum function. You can use both at the same time or each separately.

• yes - you can just steam or vacuum and steam. the vacuum feature is quite good surprisingly. I'm definitely pleased with this - I have two dogs and I can run this over the floors and pick up all the dog hair and clean up the paw prints simultaneously.
