- Answer Hey, so I have this mic to play videogames myself. There are for sure higher quality audio recording ones especially for singing, but no doubt that this mic would do the job for you for sure. Its audio recording is close to crystal clear.

- Answer The frequency response on the Snowball iCE is 40Hz-18kHz. The low E on a 4-string bass is about 41Hz... so technically, it can handle it, but it is not ideal. Stepping up to the Yeti line (Nano or the Standard Yeti) would be able to handle the bass response better with a frequency range of 20Hz-20kHz. All of the Blue USB microphones have a standard microphone mount threading built-in.
