Thank you for your interest in Blueair. The purifier will absorb VOCs like smoke and odors so some of the smell of the reed diffuser and Glade wall plug in would be absorbed. An example I give is that I use a candle in my room and while it is lit I enjoy the scent, but with the purifier the fragrance does not linger for hours after lighting with my purifier as it would without an air purifier.
