Thanks for your question. The Direct/Reflecting cube speakers included with the Acoustimass 10 system are designed to connect to the outputs of the Acoustimass bass module (and not directly to a receiver/amplifier). The reason for this is that they are not full range speakers and the impedance would not properly match, which could cause damage. You can, however, connect additional full range speakers directly to the receiver for more channels of audio. A few examples of full range speakers would be the Bose 161, 201 or 301 speakers. Please try again later.Yes, you should be able to transfer your existing speakers and the couple new ones you're thinking about purchasing to your Onkyo receiver; connecting them directly to your receiver. The only thing I could foresee being an issue, is whether your receiver and speakers can handle that much power. Your receiver and speakers have wattage/amperage/impedance limitations, and I'm not sure what those specifics are. That said, you could always contact the manufacturer's directly to get that information/discuss troubleshooting--just in case, if it's not listed in your product documentation. I hope this helps!
