Q: QuestionWhats the difference between the Bose® Lifestyle® V35 Home Theater System and Bose Lifestyle 535 Series II Home Entertainment SystemPlease advise in what way are the two systems different .

• A:Answer Thanks for your question. The speaker package and sound quality are identical between the two systems. The main difference is that the Lifestyle V35 system uses BoseLink expansion technology to add speakers in additional zone, while the Lifestyle 535 II system is SoundTouch capable. The Lifestyle SoundTouch adapter (available Spring 2014) connects to the internet and your computer (wireless or wired), and allows for instant access to select music services, internet radio and stored music. Multiple SoundTouch products and accessories can be added throughout the home to stream to multiple destinations at once. • A:Answer The Lifestyle 535 II system is not 4k compatible. Its maximum output resolution is 1080p and it cannot pass through 4k content.

Q: QuestionDoes this system decode DTS-HD MA?I know the previous version (Lifestyle v35) only decoded the lower resolution "core" DTS track and did not support full lossless DTS-HD MA decoding. Does this one now support it?

• A:Answer Thank you for your inquiry. The Lifestyle 535 Series II system supports Uncompressed PCM 5.1, Dolby Digital, Dolby TrueHD and DTS 5.1. If the system receives a DTS Master Audio signal, it will playback the embedded DTS 5.1 file. You could check to see if your Blu-Ray player is capable of decoding DTS Master Audio to output an uncompressed PCM 5.1 signal to the Bose Lifestyle system. Q: QuestionBesides the price, what is the main difference between the Lifestyle® 525 and the 535 Series II Home Entertainment SystemI am buying a UHD 4K TV and would like to add a nice sourround sound system but the 535 still does not support 4K content. So what should I buy mean time ?

• A:Answer The only difference is the speakers. The 525 has the standard direct/reflecting speakers whereas the 535 has the higher quality, smaller Jewel Cube speakers. Recommend you listen to both at the store (may have to go to a Bose store) to decide if the additional expense is worth it to you.
