Thanks for your question. The speaker package and sound quality are identical between the two systems. The main difference is that the Lifestyle V35 system uses BoseLink expansion technology to add speakers in additional zone, while the Lifestyle 535 II system is SoundTouch capable. The Lifestyle SoundTouch adapter (available Spring 2014) connects to the internet and your computer (wireless or wired), and allows for instant access to select music services, internet radio and stored music. Multiple SoundTouch products and accessories can be added throughout the home to stream to multiple destinations at once.
