This Oven Does have a defrost setting never used it myself. but does have the setting to do it.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It has a little freeze button when you're putting frozen stuff in it. When I put frozen toast in it, I just hit the button and it comes out great.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes,..It has a "Frozen Foods" button that adds the recommended, additional time required to defrost and the toast frozen bread, bagels, cook frozen pizza or cookie dough. I haven't tried it for other foods yet, e.g. meats...we use our microwave for that function...and then bake, roast, or broil in the Breville. I suspect you could "manage" the defrost mode on this smart oven if you wanted to take the time...I think the "no brainer" way to go is the microwave, for this task; especially meats, veggies...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes defrost but have to be little by little , if going to fast you maybe burn the out side
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not specifically, but several of the selectable settings have a timed preheat function. I have use it to bake several frozen food products. But I have also just adjusted cooking time and or size to use the oven on frozen foods with no problem although a frozen made up thin (very thin) crust pizza with lots of small and thinly sliced veggies added over the sausage and such I have to be careful to not overcook the dough. I'm old and stubborn and will not give up the joys of life just because I'm diabetic. This oven helps with portion control and saves my back.
