- Answer You need at least 8 inches all around for safety reasons, but especially from the top since heat rises. It's about 20w x 12.5h x 19d. They don't recommend it though. I used an infrared thermometer while i was cooking to measure the top and got temps of up to 160F.

- Answer Sadly, no. That's the only thing it won't do well since there's no bottom elements. I suppose if you really needed to, you could use the grill function and flip it over half way through, but it would take twice the time.

QuestionDoes it need 8 inch's space behind it as well? I have room on the sides and above just not behind. I saw the other answer saying all sides but wanted to clarify to be certain. Thank you

- Answer That's what the owner's manual says, but i backed it right up to my ceramic backsplash with no problems. It sits in the same place my smart oven sat backed to the wall as well for 3 years with no issues. I think it's just out of an abundance of caution.

QuestionWhen using the oven or air fryer can metal dishes be used. I’m confused because the Combi wave comes with a metal trivet and I know metal can’t be used in the microwave

- Answer The metal for the trivet has been designed specifically for use in the Breville® BMO870 Combi Wave™ Microwave and in most of the Breville® Microwaves. This trivet won't retain much heat. Using pans that are not those designed for use in the Microwave can be an issue as they will retain heat. Also, the manufacturer must be contacted to ensure that the pans are rated for use in a toaster oven.

QuestionDoes the oven rotate when it operates as a convection oven? I.e., since it lists the interior dimensions as "9"(H)x 13"(W)x 13"(D)" It would accommodate a 13x9" baking pan ... unless it is required to rotate when baking.
