- Answer It’s a great printer and it will print on card stock although I don’t know the maximum weight. I used 110lb and it worked. I don’t know about foiling.

QuestionAbout how long do the toners last? It's just my husband and me, so we don't use the printer that much --- maybe 50 sheets per year.

- Answer If you're printing that little per year you'll be fine for a while. The toner cartridges that come with the printer are supposed to last up to 1,000 prints. Replacement cartridges will last up to 3,000 pages. If you're only going to be printing 50 pages a year, I'm not sure you need a laser printer like this one. I would go with a more entry-level laser printer. The Brother HL L3270CDW may be good enough for you (it doesn't have a scanner though).

QuestionI need to print & scan in both legal and letter size in full color. Does this have that capability. Does it automatically do it two sided? If not, what printer/scanner machine or combo of machine will allow me to do this.

- Answer The HL-L3290CDW has the capability to print and scan both legal and letter size in color. The paper size and paper type settings in the machine (if applicable) and/or on your computer must be changed at the same time. Duplex printing is a feature of the HL-L3290CDW.

- Answer Yes I am thinking it does because if your look up the Brother HL4150 the highest OS it list is Microsoft Windows XP Professional x64 Edition and then you look up the Brother HL-L3290 and the highest OS it list is Windows 10.. My wife LOVES the HL-L3290
