The answer is actually yes - printing from any Chromebook to the Brother MFC-J1205w works great if you use "IPP" printing. It's true that there's no driver, however, you can use the IPP protocol and it prints just fine. I was totally alarmed by the highest-ranked answer to this question, but found my own way. In Chromebook > Settings > Printers > You may see the MFC-J1205w appear, but if you try to add it, there are no drivers. However, if you instead hit "Add printer", and then simply enter the ip address of your printer, it'll use the IPP protocol by default and work just fine! Hope this helps :-).
