- Answer It can handle one more additional paper tray. The paper sizes this machine can handle are Letter, Legal, Executive, A4, A5, A6 from the paper tray and Letter, Legal, Executive, A4, A5, A6, Envelopes, Custom Sizes (3.0-8.5" (w), 5.0-14" (l)) from the manual feed tray.

- Answer If your machine's cyan, magenta, or yellow toners run out, you can choose Mono in the printer driver to allow you to keep printing. QuestionI need to scan in a mixture of legal and letter. Will this device recognize the size changes and save in adobe accordingly or do i have to scan differing size individually

- Answer The Brother MFC-L8610CDW supports paper up to 43 lbs . We do not recommend 2-side printing when using the Multi-purpose tray.

QuestionI need to be able to print pdf documents that are a mix of legal & letter size. Will this printer switch from one tray to the other during printing automatically? Or do i have to print one size, then the other then manually collate?

- Answer Yes, If different size paper is configured on the control panel for the paper trays, the machine will automatically print from the appropriate paper tray if Auto Select is set as the Paper Source in the printer driver.
