- Answer The setting to rename the scanned document when is to an email using the Brother MFCL8900CDW machine is managed by the software in the computer, either if you are using Control Center 4 or Brother Iprint&Scan. Unfortunately if you are using scan to email server or easy scan to email, this option is not available.

- Answer YES! And it scans both sides at the same time! I don't know how it does it, mirrors I suspect, but it works. The first time I didn't think it had scanned both sides because it only went through once. My previous printer had to suck it back in to scan the second side. This one does it with only one pass, and fast!

- Answer When using the Brother MFC-L8900CDW, make sure the envelope levers inside the back cover are pulled down to the envelope position when you print envelopes. If creases occur with the envelope levers in the envelope position, print with the back cover open and feed one envelope at a time from the MP tray.
