“Does this machine have a hard case?”

• It comes with a "HARD COVER" which sits on top of the machine. There is no mechanism to attach it to the machine. It cannot be used to make a carrying case. A remedy is to buy the Singer soft, padded carrying case. It holds the machine, the extended table, foot pedal, power cord and sewing notions. The case is great. The 2, 2-way zippers open the case on 3 sides for easy loading of the machine.

• It has a light case like a cover more or less. I was not thrilled about it. But if you look online you can find a nice soft case for this machine. I used that hard case cover on my old machine and bought this bag shown below to keep that old machine in. I use the hard case lock down top for my new machine. Either way it is a good way to store it. So I placed that cover on the old machine and put it in the soft case I bought. I am very pleased.
